With the development of the society and technology,the car has gradually become necessity of people.Demand for car is also gradually from simple to complex.Now people use the car is not just a tool for travel,but also a comfortable equipment.A low noise from Automobile transmission is very important.A quiet automobile transmission is useful to improve the quality of the driving.Transmission is composed with different ratio of gears.With them the transmission can increase torsion.Optimize the parameters of gears is an important way to reduce the noise of a transmission.A suitable micro modification can reduce the transmission error of gears,get a stable load and reduce the impact.By this way we will get a smooth transmission.This paper mainly includes the following contents:(1)This paper introduces the current research status of vehicle vibration noise.Many Car manufacturers in China and abroad set up special rooms for testing vehicle noise.Now the hardware and equipment are better than before.At the same time,with the development of the computer simulation technology and experiment equipment,the NVH of the transmission and gears research also made much progress.This provides a lot of support for the transmission noise optimization.(2)A type of transmission from someone company is researched in this paper.Firstly introduces the structure of transmission and the processing technology of parts,and analyzes the noise from each part.These knowledges provide support for noise analysis.Then it analyzed the mechanics model of gear meshing movement.Finally analyzed the gear stiffness excitation,error excitation and meshing shock excitation.(3)As the basic knowledge of micro gear modification,this paper introduces the definition,test method of evaluation gear parameters.According to the mechanical standard,this paper introduces the significance and the general calculation method of gear modification.Then with Romax software established a 3D simulation model of a transmission.Based on the model,the influence of parameters on the transmission error is analyzed.(4)For Transmission test a noise analysis system called Discom is used.This paper introduces the hardware,software,noise signal processing of the system.With the knowledge of gear modification,a transmission with 2nd gear noise is analyzed.The improved method is increasing the amount of drum.The transmission noise decreases obviously,so the optimization is successful.
