The engine is the power source of the car,and the operating state at the time of launch directly affects the running state,reliability,and safety of the entire vehicle.However,there are many parts and components of the automobile engine,the structure is huge and cumbersome,and its operating environment is harsh.Therefore,a variety of faults occur in the actual work of the automobile engine,and it is difficult to eliminate the fault due to the complicated structure.Use professional instrumentation equipment to monitor the state of the automotive engine and detect faults to determine the location of the fault,analyze the cause of the fault,and make full use of information technology such as modern computer technology,big data analysis technology,and test sensing technology to improve the automotive engine The state monitoring capabilities and the accuracy of fault diagnosis are of great practical significance.In this paper,the research status of the key technologies of automobile engine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis,such as automobile engine test,engine fault diagnosis,worker neural network and BP neural network,are reviewed firstly.Secondly,three common faults of FMEA,FMECA and FTA are applied.The analysis method analyzes the fault of the automobile engine,analyzes the faults of the two typical faults,ie the high fuel consumption of the car engine and the lack of engine power,and establishes a corresponding fault tree.Third,it fully understands the test requirements and tests of the car engine.Based on the principle,the method and means for the detection of the performance parameters of the automobile engine are planned in detail.The design scheme of the bench test system for the automobile engine and the specific bench test method are proposed.Finally,combining the genetic algorithm with the BP neural network,the BP neural network based on genetic algorithm for automobile fault diagnosis is proposed and an example is analyzed.
