With the increasing number of power equipment in the industrial development,power has become the most important source of power.Power users have also raised more and more requirements for power quality.However,the industrial load is very complex,most of which are nonlinear loads,it also produces a large number of harmonic components in use,the injection of these harmonic components to the power grid may affect other users of the power grid.With the increasing of harmonic components,the research of high-power active power filter is also very important.This paper will focus on the research and discussion of high-power active power filter.This paper introduces the harmfulness of harmonics and the commonly used methods of harnessing harmonics,besides,the advantages of active filter as harmonic control equipment are pointed out and the development status and development trend of the active filter are analyzed;By analyzing the classification,structure and principle of active power filter,a dynamic and static model of active power filter is established,and a model is selected to control the modeling;In the process of developing high-power active power filter,the harmonic detection and phase locking parts are introduced,and the double loop control strategy of active power filter is designed.The voltage loop is controlled by PI and the improvement strategy is put forward.The current loop adopts the compound control mode based on repetitive control and also give the improved strategies.At last,the design method of the DC side capacitance and the AC side LCL filter in the high-power active power filter is introduced.In view of the research,the simulation model is built under the Simulink module of MATLAB,and the 300A active power filter prototype is designed.In the simulation,the majority principle is verified.In the prototype experiment,the practicability and superiority of the compensation performance of the developed active power filter is confirmed,and the compensation achieves the expected effect.
