As a high-tech smart car,it involves many subjects.including:sensor technology,electronic technology.automatic control,mechanical engineering,computer science and artificial intelligence.At present.the main development directions of intelligent vehicles are:unmanned intelligent vehicles and intelligent robots.This article will focus on single-chip smart car speed,speed control and obstacle avoidance and control algorithm.This paper introduces the intelligent vehicle speed control system from both hardware and software design.The hardware includes the choice of' microcontroller core and the interface circuit of controller and peripheral devices.In the peripheral modular design,it includes power module,ultrasonic ranging module,buzzer module,encoder speed module,digital display module and a motor drive module.The ultrasonic sensor will monitor whether there are obstacles in front and the distance of the obstacles,and then feed back the signal to the microcontroller;the photoelectric sensors will monitor and show the speed of intelligent car,when the microcontroller receives a signal about the obstacle,the output signal will be changed corresponding to the PWM duty ratio to control the motor speed to control the speed of the smart car.The software part takes the modular design,it is made of the main program,obstacle avoidance program,speed program,display program,PWM program and incremental PID control of the smart car speed routines.By using the C programming language Keil software development platform,it will be converted into machine language to stock in microcontroller memory,so the microcontroller will achieve the desired functionality according to the loaded program.The intelligent vehicles which were used in experiment through avoidance programming,incremental PID control algorithm to control the speed so that the smart car can be relatively accurate avoidance deceleration travel on a specific ground.In order to make the smart car can travel and make it more precisely to control speed.Compared to incremental PID control algorithm and RBF neural network control algorithm,the advantages and disadvantages of the RBF neural network and incremental PID control combine to form on any road conditions RBF Neural network PID control algorithm is applied to the smart car speed control.By using Matlab simulation results show that:RBF neural network PID control algorithm has a faster response,stronger adaptive,better robust than the traditional incremental PID control algorithm.Theoretically proved that RBF neural network PID control algorithm can make intelligent vehicle speed control more accurately.
