With the acceleration of urbanization in today's society,the increasingly severe traffic congestion has seriously affected people's life quality and caused resources waste.Therefore,the traffic congestion has become the main problem in the city,and the attention has been increasing.Congestion can be divided into frequent and occasional traffic congestion.Frequent traffic congestion occurs with regularity,so it can be predicted by experience to reduce the impact.However,due to the occasional traffic congestion's randomness,it is difficult to prevent and control the time and space,the great impact of its derivative is influential.This paper starts from the point of view of traffic control sub-area in the case of occasional traffic congestion,use the self-organized control method to study the transition zone,which mainly includes the following aspects:In this paper,we first explore the capacity of traffic congestion in the case of accidental traff-ic congestion and study the propagation rule of occasional congestion.Using the simulation method to observe the crow,ded queue length in different traffic demands and introduced the main factors affecting the capacity of traffic jam.On this basis,we introduced the general accidental congestion control sub region partition method and the characteristics of each region,and analyzed the applicability of the self-organization theory in the traffic control research the applied it to traffic flow control operation.After the accidental congestion happens,mainly to control the after-transition zone,using self-organizing,signal control strategy,"upstream closure,downstream unloading"control idea,reduce the traffic flow into the crowded roads.and evacuation the trapped vehicles as soonas possible.Let the largest total flow at downstream intersection as objective function.While taking control should take into consideration the crowded road vehicle waiting time,and queue length and queuing time reference weight should added to the constraint condition,then given the green light time calculation method.Finally,the transition method between self-organization control strategy and intrinsic signal control scheme is proposed.Simulation software is used to simulate the occurrence of accidental traffic congestion.In this paper,compared the control strategies of self-organization control to the timing control induction control and adaptive control.The results indicate that in the case of accidental traffic congestion,the self-organizing control strategy can make the maximum flow at the downstream intersection without causing the congestion of other sections.
