The multiphase motor has the advantages of high reliability,high torque ripple,low pulsation amplitude and low running noise.It has wide application prospects in electric vehicles,aerospace,rail transit,ship propulsion and other low voltage and high-power applications.With the rapid development of power electronics and power electronic devices,the multiphase AC motor drive system has broken through the restriction of three-phase power supply,and is developing in the direction of convenience,integration and low energy consumption.Two-stage matrix converter(TSMC)has many advantages,such as high power density,sinusoidal input and output,adjustable power factor and so on.The five phase Five Phase two-stage matrix converter(FP-TSMC)is a multiphase matrix converter developed on the basis of TSMC.In topology,FP-TSMC fully inherits many advantages of TSMC--no intermediate energy storage element,compact structure and high reliability.The same FP-TSMC also has the defect of low voltage utilization,which limits the application of FP-TSMC.In order to obtain the output waveform of the sine law,the maximum two vector modulation and the nearest four vector modulation of the five arm inverter level are studied in this paper.The simulation results show that the maximum two vector modulation strategy has a high voltage utilization rate,but there is a disadvantage of high harmonic content in the output waveform and a non sinusoidal wave formation.Therefore,the latest four vector modulation is applied to the inverter.In order to solve the defect of low voltage transmission ratio of FP-TSMC,a series Z-source network is introduced to the DC side of FP-TSMC,and a five phase double stage matrix converter(series Z-source five-phase TSMC,SZS-FP-TSMC)topology based on series Z-source is proposed.Based on the FP-TSMC dual space vector modulation strategy,SZS-FP-TSMC's dual space vector modulation strategy is proposed accordingly.In order to improve the overall performance of the converter,the rectifier and inverter level are coordinated and controlled,and the direct zero vector is divided into 10 parts.In the modulation process of the inverter,the switching loss is reduced and the input and output waveform quality of the converter is improved.In order to verify the correctness of the proposed topology and its modulation strategy,a simulation model of SZS-FP-TSMC is built on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform.The simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed topology and its modulation strategy.Finally,the SZS-FP-TSMC experiment platform with DSP and CPLD as the control core is designed.The platform mainly includes input filter circuit module,main switch circuit module,IGBT driver circuit module,signal conditioning circuit module and driver protection circuit module.The experimental results further verify the correctness of the topology and the effectiveness of the modulation strategy.
