The trace iron content in water vapor of thermal power plant has been an important index of power plant operation control,At present,the experimental method of power plant is to boil the water sample in laboratory with acid,After digestion,the reagent was detected by phenanthroline reagent.The smoke produced by this method is harmful to the health of the experimenter,And the detection method has been unable to meet the requirements of the national standard.This paper is based on the previous work,An analytical method with low detection limit and high economic efficiency was found out,The problem of Trace Iron detection in thermal power plant water vapor has been solved by improving the digestion problem,reducing the digestion temperature,and doing online digestion simulation.Two kinds of spectrophotometric detection system are analyzed in this paper,2,4,6-three(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-three(TPTZ)was used as complexing agent,The content of trace iron in water was determined by spectrophotometry,and the optimum wavelength,buffer solution,reducing agent,chromogenic agent,stability and sensitivity were determined.The detection limit of the new method is 0.5 ?g/L.Compared with the original method,this method has the advantages of good linearity,low detection limit,stable measurement result and wide application range.Because the digestion is the acid boiling,which seriously damages the safety of the personnel,this article through the digestion research,through the digestion temperature,time,pH and other conditions optimization,digestion experiments were optimized during the period.The digestion temperature was reduced to 100 degrees Celsius,and the digestion time was determined to be 10 minutes.The basic solution to boiling acid mist pollution,in order to pave the way for subsequent on-line digestion.Based on the static method,combining the detection method and the digestion method with the dynamic flow injection apparatus,a set of on-line monitoring simulation equipment for trace iron in the water of power plant was designed.It is composed of on-line digestion instrument,flow injection apparatus,spectrophotometer and data recorder.The final data show that this method is the same as that measured by static method.
