With the development of computer technology,three-dimensional design caused great change of the design industry.However,the design of hydropower station is closely related to the topographic structure,the geological conditions of hydropower station are changeable,besides the configuration of the power station is chan geable,more over the mechanical equipment pipeline layout is complicated,so the design of hydropower station is still stay in the traditional two dimensional soft meter drawing stage.The information of the two dimensional design results is not vivid and specific,and various professional staggered poor coordination,information data redundancy,ambiguity and mistakes easily.The BIM(Building Information Modeling)is based on the data of all the relevant Information on the construction project,Builds th e model of the Building,and using the digital Information simulation to simulate the real Information that the Building has.This paper introduce the concept of BIM in the design of the hydropower station,to study the visual design of three-dimensional model for hydropower station.Research and analysis of BIM model of information exchange standard IFC,analysis the IFC's structure and the classification of the entity,the key research of this part is IFC information description and the associated mechanism,and based on this to research the classification information model of hydropower station,the hydropower station,relevant model of information exchange,and associated entities.A hydropower station was proposed based on the IFC standard model and building water conservancy machinery associated with the dynamic entity type and property set expansion.To the hydraulic mechanical components: steel gate as an example,based on the steel gate under the IFC standard is introduced the establishment of a set of properties and dynamic description of information entity and associations.Research on 3 d modeling method,this paper mainly analysis and research of BIM building method of terrain geological model,the key analysis and introduces the model of the irregular triangulation TIN triangle subdivision algorithm.Analyses the commonly used three kinds of Delaunay triangulation subdivision algorithm.In merging algorithm and segmentation point insert two triangular subdivision algorithm,on the basis of improvement and convergence of the algorithm.Based on two kinds of algorithm is proposed new triangular mesh generation algorithm: with recursive segmentation algorithm as the main body,through the pre-set threshold segmentation,recursive partitioning for all point set.When the recursive partitioning a subset of the amount of data points is less than threshold,stop segmentation;Then introducing the idea of point by point insertion method,after the segmentation of subset to generate triangular mesh,and bottom-up step by all levels of triangulation.Incorporating all child triangulation,produce the final triangulation.Finally the test comparison of three kinds of algorithm,and finally the analysis of test results.Analysis of BIM entity types and geometric model description methods and related modeling and algorithm.Research and analysis of Boolean operation.This paper introduces the basic types of Boolean operation;Study the intersection operation between the geometrical element;Analysis of BIM related Boolean operation are introduced in cutting geometry algorithm,by using the method of Newton iteration formula,gives the solving the Boolean operation of solving problems related to surface of new ideas.Analyzes the Boolean operation in BIM geometric joint algorithm,and puts forward specific improvement methods,to solve the joint surface geometry of the joint problem of different size.Lastly,with respect to that example of the hydroelectric power station,the three-dimensional visualization study and simulation was carry out,and the three-dimensional structure model of the electric power station was constructed,which briefly introduced the model design process,which show the result of the final model.To analyze and contrast the final 3-d design drawings with two-dimensional design drawings.
