Rotor broken bar fault is a common fault in squirrel cage asynchronous motor.There are a lot of asynchronous motors in the Haibowan power plant.These motors also often have rotor break bar fault.If the fault is not handled properly,this will cause huge economic losses and serious consequences for the power plant.Therefore,the research of fault diagnosis and analysis of the rotor broken bar of induction motor is of great significance to ensure the operation quality of power unit and the normal work of generator.There are many methods to study and diagnose the broken bar fault of squirrel cage asynchronous motor,but there is not much research on the combination of rotor broken bar fault and actual production.In this paper,the existing example of rotor broken bar fault of asynchronous motor in Haibowan power plant is analyzed and studied.Firstly,the failure mechanism of the rotor bar of squirrel cage induction motor and the characteristic quantity after fault are analyzed.In this paper,several methods for fault detection of rotor bar of asynchronous motor are analyzed,and their shortcomings are analyzed.After that,the paper studies the actual rotor bar fault in Haibowan power plant and collects the related fault characteristic quantity.Finally,a fault diagnosis method of asynchronous motor broken bar based on information fusion is presented and the correctness of the method is verified by the data extracted from the field.
