In order to ensure the continuous supply of power supply for enterprises,users and residents,the state Power Grid Corp has put forward the plan of building a "strong smart grid" to ensure the continuous power supply of enterprises,users and residents.Traditional equipment blackout test requires high labor cost,long power outage time,no obvious effect of flexibility and timeliness,power grid stability and equipment health can not be guaranteed in time,so the on-line monitoring system plays an important role.The on-line monitoring system of electric power equipment can monitor the running situation of the equipment in real time.It plays the role of early detection and early warning of the fault.It greatly improves the reliability and economy of the power system.Its significance is the deep development of the reform of the power system and the economic benefit produced by the power users.The social benefits are huge.The on-line monitoring system of intelligent transformer is an important part of the smart grid.Its ability of automatic control,cooperative control and comprehensive analysis is the key of intelligent substation.Therefore,on-line monitoring and diagnosis is the key to Smart Substation in the future.The research and application of the on-line monitoring of the main transformer in the transformer substation,including the application of the on-line monitoring of the dielectric loss of the transformer casing,is to monitor the dielectric loss of the transformer casing by a circular current sensor and verify its feasibility through the field,and the on-line monitoring of the grounding current of the transformer core is on line.It is a new method of on-line monitoring the current of iron core through the application of different sensors.It can truly reflect the actual operation of transformer and can be used as the basis for transformer maintenance.On-line monitoring of six kinds of gas in transformer oil has realized the real-time monitoring of dissolved gases in transformer oil,and the stability and feasibility of the operation.According to the characteristics of the dissolved gas in the transformer oil,the on-line monitoring technology and the backstage operation mode,the parameters can be adjusted to meet the needs of the field monitoring and provide early warning for the transformer insulation fault.Through the research and application of the on-line monitoring system of transformer,the accuracy,practicability and stability of the real-time monitoring system are realized.The actual operation situation of the Liaoyang Shoushan substation is analyzed.The result accords with the expected goal.The transformer on-line monitoring system can be extended to various substations to further improve the service life of the equipment,reduce the cost of equipment maintenance,and ensure the stability of the power grid and the safe operation of the equipment.At the end of the paper,the shortcomings of the main transformer on-line monitoring system in the 220 kV substation in the Shoushan Liaoyang are improved,and the improvement is made in the future operation.
