Abstract/Summary:
The flow coming from upstream with state of disturbance can interfere with the normal operation of the pump,even causing the pump to stop when seriously.Therefore,the steady operation of circulating water pump depends on the flow condition of the upstream of the pump,and also counts a lot for the safety of nuclear power plant.In recent years,with the gradual development of nuclear power plant’s construction,the safety of nuclear power plant operation has received more and more attention from the public.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to carry out the study on the safe operation of circulating water pump.This paper focuses on the influence of the flow structure of the pump room on the flow state,and convinces the rationality of the design scheme through the physical model test.The specific content were carried out according to the following points,and than some conclusion were provided.(1)The adverse flow state and the rectification measures in the flow channel of the pump room were discussed,and than the mechanism of the formation of adverse flow state and some common rectifying measures and their functions were briefly discussed.(2)The structure parameter size of a certain nuclear power station were adjusted appropriately,The reasonable selection range of the main structure parameters of the pump sump were obtained by numerical simulation.Results demonstrate that setting rectifying measures in the pump sump could guide the flow of pump sump,and had a better rectification effect.(3)Based on the experiment of the physical model of the pump room in a nuclear power plant,the rationality of the design of the original design scheme is analyzed and the possible optimization scheme were also proposed.Results reflect the structure design of the original design scheme is reasonable.A constructive measure was suggested to optimize the inlet of the channel from right angle into arc,thus improving the inlet flow state,and further reducing the hydraulic loss.In this paper,a numerical simulation and physical model were used to study the flow state of inlet channel in nuclear power plant,and the results is of practical reference and significance.
