In some high construction engineering,their foundations’ security and stability are urgent and focused problems.In this paper,one-dimensional compression test would be carried out to study the influence of particle crushing on glass bead which has a fine shape.During particle crushing process,bender-extender element technique and tactile pressure sensor system are used to monitor the micro and macro mechanical characteristic of glass beads and classify particle crushing mechanical principle.According to the test result,we can analyze the influence of particle crushing on foundation’s security and stability and propose viable methods.Further,this paper also studied the mechanical characteristic of rubber-sand mixtures where rubber would be used as a filling material.And the feasibility of rubber-sand mixture for foundation’s security and stability would be studied according to this test result.Main work includes the following aspects:1.Debugging bender-extender element and calibrating tactile pressure sensor system.Confirming the feasibility of bender-extender element at high stress and its signal parameter under high pressure condition.Further,tactile pressure sensor needs to be liner calibrated and establish the conversion formula between voltage and force.2.Analyzing particle crushing of glass bead with the stress-strain curve among the crushing process.Confirming the existence of ’arching effect’;and a quantitative formula would be provided according to the evolution of bottom pressure with the influence of ’arching effect’.Further,influence of friction of plate on ’arching effect’would make a comparison among different friction containers.Bender-extender element technique would be used to monitor the evolution of wave velocity during particle crushing;and the relationship between particle crushing and wave velocity would be analyzed.3.Rubber clips with different sizes and friction would be filled in FuJian standard sand at one-dimensional compression test.Bender-extender element and tactile pressure sensor would be used to monitor the evolution of shear wave velocity,compressional wavevelocity and K0 to Study the effect of rubbers’ sizes and content on rubber-sand mixture and ’force chain’.Further,the best rubber content can be chosen according to the results to provide an accordance to civil engineering.
