Semi-submersible production platform is a semi-submersible platform with the function of production,processing,storage and output and so on.The body of semi-submersible production platform is made of four columns and ring pontoon that strengthen the overall strength.Larger deck area and greater loading capacity of semi-submersible production is beneficial to produce in the deep sea environment.So semi-submersible production platform has been given considerable attention in the ocean engineering field.Due to operate in the deep water,it will be subjected to more terrible environmental condition and have a greater impact on rival pipe and other production equipment with excessive sports.So semi-submersible production platform requires a higher ability of mooring positioning.Taut mooring system is selected as the mooring system for semi-submersible production platform.Therefore,we need to design a suitable taut mooring system to ensure the operation of the platform.The experimental study on motion and environmental load of semi-submersible production platform and its mooring system is carried out,proving the rationality of taut mooring system.It provides reference for the design of semi-submersible production platform and taut mooring system,having some practical engineering significance.This paper analyzes the hydrodynamic performance of semi-submersible production platform and the design of taut mooring system.The motion response and environmental load of the platform are studied by model test and numerical analysis.The main contents are as follows:1)According to the total design of semi-submersible production platform,with using floating platform hydrodynamic calculation theory and numerical calculation software,the hydrodynamic parameters of semi-submersible production platform are calculated and the hydrohynamic performance of semi-submersible production platform is analyzed.2)According to API specification and engineering experience,designing a taut mooring system with actual marine environment data and analyzing the performance of taut mooring system.In addition,this paper also studies the design method of the platform dock mooring.3)Based on the model test method,researching the environmental load on semi-submersible production platform.Thus,simulating the semi-submersible production platform environmental load suffered in the real environment.Due to water depth restriction,taut mooring system required to equivalent truncation design.Then,the model test of the platform and its mooring system is conducted.Based on the experimental results obtained,the hydrohynamic performance of semi-submersible production platform and the response of semi-submersible production platform to mooring and tension are analyzed and the design of taut mooring system is verified.4)According to the results of the model test,coupling analysis of taut mooring system.The motion and tension response of the platform and taut mooring system under true sea condition are obtained by numerical reconstruction and numerical extrapolation.Providing the basis for the design of the semi-submersible production platform and taut mooring system.
