In recent years,due to the improvement of seismic fortification standards at multiple sites and the change of building functions,the seismic performance of many buildings can not meet the current requirements.Such problems are particularly prominent in high intensity areas,Therefore,take preventive measures to conduct seismic appraisal and reinforcement with a large number of such existing buildings can effectively reduce the damage caused by the earthquake.This paper selects the reinforcement and reconstruction project of a frame-structure complex building in Jiayuguan city as the research object,due to the improvement of local seismic fortification standards,its seismic fortification intensity increased from 7 degree to 8 degree,and the earthquake acceleration design value increased from 0.15 g to 0.20 g.And because the function is changed from residence to office building,the structure has been partially added and transformed.To ensure the safety of subsequent use of the structure,the concrete structure need to carry out seismic appraisal and reinforcement.Through the seismic appraisal of this reinforced concrete frame structure and the analysis of its seismic performance after reinforcement,it provide some reference for similar building structures.Firstly,this paper describes the detection method and theory of concrete structure and the seismic appraisal of building structure.Secondly,the principle of reinforcement design of reinforced concrete frame structure and the basic assumptions of reinforcement calculation are introduced briefly.The common methods,technical characteristics and calculation methods of component reinforcement are also described.On this basis,according to the design data of the structure,the foundation,structure arrangement,strength of concrete component,section configured rebar and defects of concrete are tested.This paper establishes a finite element model of the frame structure of a complex building in Jiayuguan City by PKPM software.Combined with the "seismic apprasial standards","code for seismic design of buildings" and "civil construction standards",it identifies structural seismic measures,bearing capacity and safety.Finally,according to the appraisal results,the components that can not suffice the seismic capacity are selected and reinforced by the methods of increasing of the cross-section reinforcement,pasting steel reinforcement and pasting carbon fiber reinforcement.And compared the seismic capacity of the structure before and after strengthening.The result shows,After reinforcement and reconstruction,the dynamic characteristics of the structure are obviously improved,the deformation meets the requirements of the specification,and the overall bearing capacity of the structure meets the design requirements.It can be seen from the seismic appraisal and reinforcement analysis of this project: this appraisal conclusion can provide a reliable technical basis for structural reinforcement and reconstruction.According to the identification conclusion,choose a reasonable method to reinforce the components which do not meet the requirement of bearing capacity.Through the reinforcement,it can effectively reduce the interlayer displacement,interlayer displacement angle optimize the natural period of the structure and improve the overall seismic capacity of the structure.
