With the progress of railway technology,the transportation of the train is developing in the direction of high speed and heavy haul.But with the running of heavy haul train and the increasing of the train traction,the longitudinal dynamics is more and more large.The too large longitudinal dynamics will cause a series of problems,such as coupler fracturing,train decoupling,components wear out.Especially the bad condition of heavy haul train travelling on the long heavy down grade,the operation ability that the train has to overcome is crucial.How to keep the heavy haul trains passing through the long heavy down grade safetly and stabilitly has attracted.It is mainly based on the cycle and the dynamic braking is supplemented when the train travels on the long heavy down grade.And it will also cause a series of problems,such as the number of cycle braking,the average speed,the total control time of every cycle braking of optimizing operation and the ability of air inflation of auxiliary air cylinder,when the train takes the cycle braking.In this paper,by analyzing the test data of 10000 tons heavy haul train and using co-simulation systems of train air brake and longitudinal dynamics which adopts the method of computer numerical simulation,we optimize the 10000 tons heavy haul train travelling on the long heavy down grade of Shenshuo.And according to this result,we also optimize the 10000 tons heavy haul train travelling on the long heavy down grade of Shenshuo.The results of simulation and optimization show that without changing the number of engine,by changing the test data about the speed of braking and releasing and the breaking current of engine of 10000 tons heavy haul train travelling on the long heavy down grade of Shenshuo,the result of simulation and optimization about the number of cycle braking of 2+1+0 marshalling and 1+1+1 marshalling is less 2 than the number of cycle braking of test data.The average speed of simulation and optimization of 2+1+0 marshalling and 1+1+1 marshalling is increased 18.3%and 20.8%than the test data.The total control time of every cycle braking of optimizing operation of simulation and optimization of 2+1+0 marshalling and 1+1+1 marshalling is less 1.7%and 2%than the test data.And the ability of air inflation of auxiliary air cylinder of simulation and optimization is better than the test data.The result of simulation and optimization about the braking synchronism show that the time of 1+1+1 marshalling is less 39.6%than the time of 2+1+0 marshalling.The results of simulation and optimization about 15000 tons heavy haul train travelling on the long heavy down grade of Shenshuo show that the number of cycle braking of 2+2+0 marshalling,2+1+1 marshalling,1+2+1 marshalling and 1+1+1+1 marshalling are all 5.And the averge speed of 1+1+1+1 marshalling is the highest.The total control time of every cycle braking of optimizing operation of 1+1+1+1 marshalling is the lest.The braking synchronism of 1+1+1+1 marshalling is the best.And the ability of air inflation of auxiliary air cylinder of simulation and optimization of 1+1+1+1 marshalling is the best.
