Study On Renovation For The Elderly Of Existing Residential Area In Guangzhou

The existing settlements of the 80 ’s are generally dilapidated,and the public facilities and community support are missing or incomplete.Based on the social background of population aging,the shortcomings of this kind of settlements are becoming more and more obvious,which can not provide the old people with safe and comfortable environment for the aged.Compared with the large-scale reconstruction,it is more economical to save the social resources for the adaptation of the existing residential areas,and to solve the problem of the shortage of the old residential areas in the 80,so that it can provide the elderly with a more comfortable and safe environment for the aged.In this paper,the author chooses the existing residential area of Guangzhou in the 80 ’s as the object of study,uses the methods of literature research and field investigation,and summarizes the present situation and characteristics of Guangzhou existing settlements,combining with the physiological,psychological and behavioral needs of the elderly.Based on field investigation and analysis,this paper summarizes the needs of the old people’s transformation,analyzes the problems of the external active space of the existing settlements and the inadequacy of the living space of the dwelling house,and puts forward the relevant methods of adapting to the old,improving the old level of the existing living area,and it also provides relevant reference for the reconstruction of Guangzhou existing residential area.The full text can be divided into five parts:The first chapter mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,puts forward the research methods,and expounds the relevant domestic and foreign research review.The second chapter studies the physiological,psychological and behavioral needs of the elderly,and expounds the characteristics and related needs of Guangzhou in the light of Guangzhou’s related endowment policy and the needs of the elderly.The third chapter studies the development and layout of the existing settlements in Guangzhou,and through investigation of seven existing settlements in the center of Guangzhou,points out that the present situation has not only the deficiency of the old living area,but also analyzes the needs of the adaptation.The fourth chapter studies the adaptation of old people’s external activities space,from viewing space to leisure space,and to the adaptation of fitness activity space.The fifth chapter studies the adaptation of old people’s home space in residential area,from functional space to public transportation space.
