HVAC engineering is not only a complex system process,but also an important part of modern construction projects.It has some features such as: big quantities,complex and long construction period,the large amount construction personnel,the high rate of repair construction.Being one of the main consumption parts of building energy consumption,HVAC equipment consumes about 40 percent of the building's energy consumption[1].Nowadays,because of the enlargement and the upsizing of the building,the requirement of the HVAC system is also more and more strict,An air conditioning system design should think about the full life cycle and adapt to the requirement of ‘energy saving carbon reduction' and ‘green development' regardless of the early stage of the air conditioning system design and type selection,construction process and other professional pipeline,the use of or after the construction,and even scrapped renovation stage.It's of great significance to our country to make the sustainable development strategy come true.Currently,calculating the cost of HVAC just according to traditional drawings can't satisfy the elaborating management requirements to the life cycle in the era of big data.with the continuous development of BIM(Building Information modeling)technology,to provides the tools and methods for realizing the Life cycle cost of HVAC,this article will analyze Life cycle cost of HVAC and its impact on the environment by building the BIM-LCC framework and combining life cycle cost(LCC)of HVAC with BIM technology.At the same time,it also has in-depth discussions on the effect of BIM technology on the life cyclecost of HVAC and establish HVAC cost based on BIM technology analysis theory with the advantages of the life cycle cost.This paper analyses HVAC in life cycle cost control principles,main contents,and working process analysis on the basis of BIM,and integrates the digital information of BIM model,annual energy consumption simulation,life cycle cost and environmental impact.Eventually the HVAC framework based on life cycle cost with BIM technology(BIM-LCC).In the background of traditional life cycle cost,which is complicated,time-consuming,error-prone and has large amount of cost,in order to give full play to the digital characteristics of BIM in life cycle cost,this article conducts secondary development,and caculates the quantities,parameter details and the cost of HVAC based on Revit API.Taking a public air conditioning project as an example,using the BIM-LCC framework,simulating the effects of HVAC solutions on energy consumption,analyzing these aspects including: initial investment in various programmes,,the payback period for initial system investment,the area occupied by the system,the economy of the whole life cycle of system,the risk assessment of the system operation,and the environmental impact,comparing the conventional refrigeration system with the ice-storage system whose capacity is 25%,30%,35% respectively,finally it is concluded that 25% of the ice ice cool storage quantity of cool storage system is the best scheme.
