In the process of construction and use,the defects and damage of the stainless steel structure will inevitably occur due to the impact of internal and external factors.In recent years,due to the excellent physical and mechanical properties,Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Polymer(CFRP)has been widely used in retrofitting the building structures.The effect and quality of the reinforcement depends on the bonding strength between the CFRP sheets and the base materials.Therefore,the study of bonding properties should be the basic and key project of stainless steel structures reinforced with CFRP sheets.In order to research the interfacial bonding properties of CFRP sheet-stainless steel,designing 22 composite plates with CFRP sheets and stainless steel plates for axial tensile shear experiment.The influences on five kinds of bonding length,three kinds of bonding width and three kinds of bonding layers are considered,and the improvement of two kinds of transverse CFRP sheets are studied in this paper.Based on experimental results,the failure process and bonding principle are described,the vertical displacement-shear loading curve is drew.According to the strain distribution on the surface of CFRP sheets,the distribution of shear stress in bonding interface is derived,and effective bonding length under different bond parameters are proposed.The relationship between stripping load and ultimate bond force is compared,and this paper proposes the concept of peeling safety factor.Based on experimental research,the paper puts forward the tensile shear model for CFRP sheet-stainless steel,composite plate's mechanical properties were analyzed by elastic-plastic analysis method.The formulae of shear stress-strain distribution in elastic stage and plastic stage and formula of critical load were launched.Finally,the whole bonding process of CFRP sheet-stainless steel was analyzed,and the results of the theoretical analysis are similar to the experimental results.With the help of the ANSYS finite element software,the experimental data are supported.The integrity and systematicness of the bonding properties are increased,which lays the foundation for the follow-up study of CFRP reinforcement of stainless steel.
