Design,Development And Applications Of Hydrosol Distiller Based On Co-creation

With the development of society,natural and healthy cosmetics is increasingly favored by consumers all over the world.As the water solution of aromatic extract,hydrosol is very popular in North America,Europe,Japan and Southeast Asia.The market of aromatic products in China is in the beginning stages.Based on the trend of advocating nature and efficacious cosmetics,China’s aromatic industry will have a wide-open market and more perfect market system.1)This project uses the "co-creation" which is a design approach to make users,experts and other stakeholders involved in the entire process of product innovation and design.In order to create an innovative integrated product system,the concept of "co-creation"runs through the entire project and is complemented by a series of other design methods such as "agile development" and "design ethnography",and has made remarkable achievements for this project.2)This project has designed and developed the first professional domestic smart Hydrosol Distiller.In the process of product development,we first did some experiments to accumulate some experience of producing hydrosol by hand,and then,according to the characteristics of hydrosol and users’cooperative participation,we divided the products into three sections:distillation system,intelligent system and interactive system.Through the iteration of three generations of functional prototypes,all sections have been verified by experiments and debugger,and the structure of the product prototype has been adjusted and optimized constantly.Finally,we completed the prototype design of Hydrosol Distiller.3)This project sets up a complete product system for seamless experience of hydrosol.The product system provides solutions for purchasing supplies and making derivatives of hydrosol which are the most disturbing problems for making hydrosol at this stage.We have cooperated with several herbalists,perfumers and some senior users of hydrosol through the R&D process,and have developed a variety of blended material formulas as the form of teacakes or teabags for making functional hydrosol and making perfumes hydrosol.In addition,we have abstracted the complex process of making derivatives of hydrosol to make this process be done easily by a set of tools that we provide.Our product system opens up the upstream and downstream of Hydrosol Distiller,with the goal of providing perfect user experience.
