Piers column structure is a bridge,wharf,offshore platform and other hydraulic structures widely used in one of the basic types of water flow brushing pier near the column of sediment,resulting in pile piles out of instability,a serious threat to the structural safety of hydraulic structures,It is of great theoretical and practical value to study the local scouring mechanism and protective measures of pier.Sacrificial piles can be used to effectively reduce the maximum erosion depth.In this paper,the three-dimensional numerical model is used to study the mechanism and protective effect of the sacrificial piles in the local erosion protection of the pier.Firstly,the hydrodynamic characteristics of the flow field around the pier are analyzed.Then,under the condition of pure flow,compared with the flow field and local erosion pattern around the pier after the pile,it is found that sacrificial piles can reduce the flow rate,the horizontal velocity and the turbulence intensity,To ease the bottom of the pier near the bottom of the flow rate,to eliminate or reduce the horseshoe-shaped whirlpool.It is found that the distance of the large diameter non-submerged pile can be better than that of the pier 1D0 to 1.5D0,and finally the protective effect can be obtained.Finally,In order to solve the problem of poor protection effect when the anti-pile protection is facing the change of the incoming-flow angle,the application of the mufti-pile layout in the scour protection is discussed.By comparing the local scouring in different arrangement forms,Type of arrangement can be better to deal with the situation of the flow angle.
