In recent research,due to its low operating energy consumption,strong independence,high reliability and low environmental pollution,the comprehensive utilization system of renewable energy was considered as the best solution to solve the heating,ventilation and lighting problems of the building energy in the remote area.Solar energy and wind energy were common renewable energy sources with well complimentary in remote areas.In order to achieve more flexibility and reliability within the system,the battery bank and the diesel generator were frequently used as part of the storage and standby energy of the comprehensive utilization system of renewable energy.It was extensive and effective to apply the comprehensive utilization system of renewable energy in remote area.This dissertation focused on the optimization design of the comprehensive utilization system of renewable energy by simulating the operation of the system in the whole life span to verify the rationality and economy of the size of the system components.Firstly,this dissertation introduced the working principle and input/output characteristics of the components of the comprehensive utilization system of renewable energy.Then,the mathematical model of the system was established,including the power model,the cost model,the reliability model and the energy dispatching strategy model.The cost model was used the life cycle cost method to calculate the total life-span cost of the system which taking into account the system investment cost,operation cost,maintenance cost and replacement costs,meanwhile it also was used the discount rate to convert future payments into present value payments.Secondly,due to the optimization problem of the comprehensive utilization system was discontinuity and non-linear,this paper adopted the minimum levelized cost of energy as the objective function and the boundary of the each component as the constraint.Meanwhile,it proposed a genetic algorithm which based on the natural evolution problem to select the optimal solution of the system.Finally,this case of study collected the 8760 hourly demand load data of the target building which located in the Corvo Island.And it also obtained the hourly wind speed and solar radiation basic database through the NASA.By using the optimization method of the comprehensive utilization system of renewable energy which described in this paper,this dissertation simulated the operation of the system for 20 years through Matlab program.According to the actual situation of the target building,the maximum blackout time was respectively set to 0,50 and 100 hours.The optimization simulation program was used to obtain three sets of optimization configuration data.On the basis of the comparison of the optimal solution with the approximate solution,this paper summarizes the superiority of the economy and reliability of the system which based on the Matlab program search.Meanwhile,It was also validates the feasibility of the optimization method.
