Electro-mechanical Brake(EMB)is a branch of automotive wire control technology.It is very popular with research institutions at home and abroad because of its simple structure,favorable arrangement,environmental protection,energy saving and convenient maintenance.Based on the analysis of the research status of vehicle electronic brake technology at home and abroad,some problems and shortcomings of EMB system is studied in this paper.The main contents are as follows:(1)Summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the EMB actuator developed at home and abroad,put forward three overall plans of EMB actuator,selected the optimal scheme and the program design method is used to calculate the checking and checking of the parts.(2)Researched the characteristics of the components of the EMB actuator including the brake motor,the motion transformation mechanism and the brake,established the mathematical model include brushless DC motor,transmission mechanism and brake,designed the three-closed loop PID control system.In the end,carried out the system simulation in the Matlab/Simulink,and the feasibility of the control algorithm is verified.(3)On the basis of the electronic brake system,integrated the automobile ABS system.Built the overall simulation model in the Matlab/Simulink environment,including 1/4vehicle model,tire model and EMB actuator model,and designed two control algorithms based on slip rate PID and fuzzy PID.The above algorithms are compared and simulated on single linear pavement and transition road.The results show that the fuzzy PID control can effectively compensate for the shortage of PID control,and obviously improve the braking performance,and the system can adapt to the change of the road condition very well.(4)Developed an EMB hardware in the loop test-bed based on Matlab/Simulink Realtime real-time platform and carried out the test-bed function test.The results show that the test-bed is stable and reliable,which lays the foundation for further development of the system.
