As a kind of technical means,infrared detection is very important in the maintenance of power equipment.It has the advantages of long distance,non-contact,real-time,fast,safe and wide application range.It is a simple and fast method for on-line detection of equipment.The heating equipment fault detection is a good way to solve the problem by using the infrared detection technology,it can real-time detection equipment during operation of heating conditions on the running equipment real fever distribution without damage,can be taken to the real temperature distribution of infrared equipment map,make a detailed comparative analysis between the equipment of the horizontal and vertical,the same or different parts of infrared spectra taken clear display,small changes in temperature sensitive reaction,the evolution of equipment fault play a predict,timely processing defects,to avoid greater losses,is an effective means of.But the practice in recent years shows that the traditional infrared detection method based on《the application of guide diagnostic equipment of infrared diagnostic technology》has charged standard of judgement is not perfect,resulting in the actual detection often missed detection etc.,poor effect.The purpose of this study is to analyze the shortcomings of the traditional infrared thermography detection method through the laboratory simulation experiments,in order to propose an improved detection method to improve the accuracy of the detection of deteriorated insulators.In this paper,through in-depth study of the infrared detection technology,a brief analysis on the further infrared imager principle and performance parameters,leads to the influence of abnormal heating of power equipment,and based on the infrared detection technology for a more in-depth analysis of power equipment,heating type,and select a three-dimensional physical model in multi physics simulation in the PSCAD software,select the current physical field field and solid heat transfer field,through different insulation condition simulation of insulators,calculating the load current of different sizes under the insulation performance.Finally,the central line temperature of insulator string is extracted by MATLAB programming,in order to detect the target of degradation insulator.At the same time,the physical field simulation model is validated by the laboratory environment,and the feasibility of the method is proved.
