In recent years,the SF6 gas as the insulating medium?GIS?has been widely used in the power system,which has improved the reliability and safety of the power grid operation.But because of its full closure,once its internal fault occurs,its impact is unpredictable.Therefore,it is of great significance to accurately grasp the running condition of GIS equipment,find defects and deal with it in time.It is of great significance to the safe and reliable operation of the power grid.This paper makes an in-depth analysis on the research of GIS ultrasonic partial discharge detection and its application in Xingtai area.First,the basic principle,the cause and the equivalent circuit of the partial discharge are discussed in this paper.The basic principle,the propagation characteristic,the working principle and the selection of the sensor are studied.Secondly,taking the PDS-T90 partial discharge testing instrument developed by Shanghai Huasheng limited company as an example,the structure and working principle of the partial discharge detector are introduced.The defect location method and flow chart of the partial discharge measurement are completed.Four typical discharge defects which often appear in the GIS equipment are analyzed and summed up,and the inspectors have been solved.In the field of on-the-spot inspection and the actual problems of defect location and determination,the electrical test specialty of the operation and maintenance department of Xingtai power supply company of the national network is investigated.The effectiveness and practicability of the ultrasonic partial discharge detection technology are analyzed.Finally,the discovery and analysis of the Xingtai power supply company of the national network are introduced and analyzed in detail.The three typical cases have accumulated valuable experience for the later detection personnel to carry out live detection.In addition,in the affirmation of ultrasonic partial discharge detection technology,we also put forward the prospect.
