Wind power generation is the main way of wind energy utilization,and the cost of electricity generation is comparative to that of the traditional energy.After the blades and airfoils ice up,the aerodynamic performance is reduced greatly,leading to the possible fluctuation of power grid.The situation of ‘disturbing residents' caused by the aerodynamic noise of rotating blades has become an important concern of the public.Given that the development of wind power is affected significantly by wind turbine blade icing and its noise,it is extremely necessary to carry out research in these two aspects.The models including two-dimensional airfoil and three-dimensional blade are established before and after icing in this paper.The flow field and noise features around airfoil and blade are simulated numercially.The influence of attack angle,wind speed and signal reception distance on aerodynamic noise of airfoil and blade is analyzed.The main contents are as follows:(1)A two-dimensional model of NACA0012 airfoil is established when it is unfrozen,covered with glaze ice and rime ice.For three cases,the FLUENT software is used to simulate the aerodynamic performance and noise characteristics,and lift,drag and stall point are compared;the underlying reason of the change of airfoil aerodynamic performance is explored,and the influence of icing shape,attack angle,wind speed and signal reception distance on noise are examined.(2)A three-dimensional model of horizontal axis wind turbine blades is built for the blades being not frozen and covered with rime ice,respectively,and numerical simulation of aerodynamic noise with and without icing on blade is performed.The flow field around wind turbine is presented,and the static pressure distribution on blade,vortex structure and pressure fluctuation characteristics are compared.The relationship between noise and icing or not,wind speed and signal reception distance is discussed,respectively.
