The concrete-filled steel tube structures has been gradually applied to complex building structures,especially high-rise,super-high-rise structures and bridge structures because of its various sectional forms,excellent mechanical properties and so on.Among them,the regular hexagonal concrete-filled steel tube is widely concerned because of its unique advantages such as easy to connect with multi-directional structures,easy to make up honeycomb structure,and good aesthetic value.In this paper,it is studied respectively by the ABAQUS that the performances of the regular hexagonal CFST column and the influence of various main parameters on its bearing capacity under the axial compression,the axial tension,the compression-flexure and the stretch bending states.The main work of this paper are summarized below:(1)Because there is no mature constitutive model for the hexagonal CFST column,the comparison of the constitutive relations respectively proposed by Han and by Ding and their applications of simulations is studied after fully summarizing the achievements of many researchers in this paper.Then the constitutive relations proposed by Ding was selected for the subsequent simulations.(2)Based on the results of the researchers of Anadolu University,the regular hexagonal CFST column under the axial compression is simulated by the ABAQUS,then compare them with the experimental results.And a more extensive and in-depth research program of the key parameters was suggested to provide more comprehensive studies on its performance.(3)At present,there is very little research on its performance of the regular hexagonal CFST column under the axial tension and the stretch bending.The regular hexagonal CFST column under the axial tension,the compression-flexure and the stretch bending are simulated by the ABAQUS.The performances and bearing capacities of the regular hexagonal CFST column under these three states are analyzed,and the influences of the main parameters on it under each state are studied.Because there is few studies and gist on the regular hexagonal CFST column,it is hoped that the numerical simulation in this paper can partially replace the practical engineering experiment,so as to provide some valuable reference for the design of it.
