After entering the 21 st century,human enteres era of information from industrial age with the rapid development of modern science and technology.People's dwelling environment and quality of life are increasing,and the smart home system comes into being consequently.The system which enables home environment monitoring is consisted of various sensors,electronic and electrical equipments connected through a network.This paper analyzes the development status and implementation cases of smart home platform at home and abroad by exploring the background and significance of the project,based on an smart home system solution for a Polytron Technologies Inc in Beijing.At present,the CPU chip based on ARM architecture is widely applied in the application field of embedded system.At the same time,Zig Bee technology takes the lead in the application of wireless sensor network.The two technologies play an important role in the field of smart home.This paper designs and implements an smart home system based on ARM and Zig Bee technology.This paper first introduces the research background of smart home system and the research status at home and abroad,then analyzes the functional requirements of the system,and detailedly introduces the system requirements of smart home platform and the software and hardware system architecture of the platform.Next,this paper introduces the work I participated in,such as the hardware circuit design of nodes in Zig Bee wireless transmission technology,the transplantation and development of Z-Stack protocol stack.Then it introduces the construction of ARM embedded gateway,and the transplant of embedded server and database.Finally,this paper combines the security alarm module in the platform and the face recognition technology based on PCA-BP neural network.Through the PCA principal component analysis,we find out the key recognition factors in the face,and then the BP neural network recognition model was used to compare the local storage face data with the faces captured by cameras,so as to realize the intelligent management and intelligent alarm function of home devices.
