Research On Foreign Direct Investment Of China Electric Power Industry

With the development of China's economy,China's power industry has carried out business to other countries in the world and expanded its national business continuously.This is an important step for Chinese enterprises in their "going global" strategy.As early as 2007,SGCC started overseas investment and acquisition of related industries.It has invested in projects in the Philippines,Brazil,Portugal and other countries successively,and plays an important role in the overseas investment of China's power industry.The scale of its business and the scale of its investment in electricity are very representative in the industry.This article analyzes the current situation of overseas investment in China's electric power industry through PEST analysis method,and the case of the State Grid's direct investment abroad,then uses the investment strategy and market investment theory to clarify the environmental factors of the overseas investment of the China's power industry.Direct investment provides a theoretical basis for China's power industry in the OFDI to develop a more scientific and forward-looking investment strategy,so that China's power industry in the competition in foreign direct investment business to reflect a greater advantage,So as to promote a better and faster development of foreign direct investment in the SGCC and the Chinese power industry,so as to meet the development needs of investment.
