Satellite remote sensing monitoring of forest fire is the main technology for early detection, dynamic tracking and post-disaster assessment of fire.Although a wide variety of satellites sources and monitoring methods can be used in current studies, many problems in application of multi-sources data fusion still exist. In terms of the accurate positioning of open fire, precise of fire range and timeliness, different data have its own advantages. Therefore,it is imperative to carry out evaluation of accuracy and adaptability for monitoring data in order to propose optimization scheme for multi-sources monitoring data at different stages of fire monitoring. In this paper,by taking the catastrophic forest fire in Naji forest farm of Daxinganling,Inner Mongolia as research goal, occurred in 17 th,May,2017,on the basis of medium-high spatial resolution satellite monitoring images, the analysis of monitoring accuracy six satellites data was completed.Meanwhile,FARSITE model was conducted to simulate the speed and range of fire-spread,and the accuracy had been verified. In addition, the vegetation restoration in study area from the occurrence of fire to the end of growing season was evaluated, which can provide scientific and technological support for fire emergency management during the fire prevention period in northern forest. The results are as follows:1.The spatial accuracy of new generation of geostationary meteorological satellites is to an approximation of polar orbiting meteorological satellites in forest fire monitoring, while the time resolution of former was greatly increased and high frequency of < 10 minutes had been achieved, which could be used as preferred satellite for forest fire monitoring.2.The spatial errors of geostationary and polar orbiting meteorological satellites were significantly higher,They could not accurately position the open fire and enlarged the range of open fire.Consequently, they are not recommended in emergency command.3.The GF-4 Satellite could be satisfactory in high temporal and spatial resolution emergency monitoring. It had accurately identified the position, range and dynamic changes of fire, which could be regarded as the preferred satellite for fire emergency monitoring.4.In the absence of intensive human interference, the FARSITE model could accurately reproduce more than 85% of the area of fire. The main vegetation types and forest structure(degree of density)could meet the precision requirements of forest fire emergency simulation. After human disturbances, the efficiency evaluation of firefighting could be implemented according to the differences between the simulated and actual fire range.5.Remote sensing techniques could be applied to continuously monitor and quantify the degree of fire damage.Immediate assessment after a fire would magnify fire damage, and it should be evaluated after approximately growing season of ecological restoration in order to accurately determine the fire damage.
