In recent years,BIM(Building Information Modeling)has been widely used in construction field,and gradually extended to municipal,transportation and other fields,but its application and research in bridge engineering is still in its infancy,especially in the study of bridge inspection is still very rare.Bridge inspection plays an important role in bridge maintenance and management.The accuracy and completeness of its own information will directly affect the maintenance and management of subsequent bridges.And the visualization,digitalization,and information integration of BIM technology can be applied to bridge inspection work.Based on this,this paper studies the combination of modeling,inspection and bridge inspection information management with BIM technology of concrete variable section box girder bridge.In this paper,Revit API is applied to realize parametric modeling function of variable section box girder in bridge structure in Revit.Based on this,it is extended to a fullbridge BIM model.And using the characteristics of this BIM model,the inspection information is integrated into the BIM model to explore the possible application of BIM in the bridge inspection process.The main work of this paper are as follows:(1)Using the Revit metric profile family and the adaptive metric conventional model family as the platform,the automatic generation of the bridge with variable section box girder under the Revit environment is realized,and the parametric modeling of the variable section box girder structure of the bridge is completed.The plug-in completes the parametric design of variable section box girder modeling on Revit.(2)By applying BIM technology at all stages of bridge inspection,the integration of model and inspection information is realized,the efficiency of inspection information management is improved,and the visual representation of inspection schemes and instruments can be realized,and the loaded vehicles and inspection instruments can be intuitively grasped.It can intuitively grasp the spatial distribution of the loaded vehicles and inspection instruments;and realize the automatic calculation of technical condition scores.It can improve the level of intelligence in inspection;and realize the collection and documentation of inspection information,which provides a reliable basis for bridge maintenance.After verification examples,the bridge variable section box girder modeling plug-in of this paper can achieve quick-modeling and bring great convenience to designers.This paper also demonstrates the feasibility of applying BIM technology to bridge inspection.The systems make up for the inadequacy of traditional bridge inspection and improve the level of information management.
