Chiller plant system,as an important part of the HVAC system,its energy consumption is about 65%~75% of the total energy consumption of the HVAC system,and the investment is about 40%~55% of the total investment.That's a large energy consumption part in public buildings.Through the investigation,it was found that the actual performance of monitoring system in current chiller plant is generally poor.This paper studies the development history and the application status of the control system framework of the chiller plant,and combining the related research results in chiller plant filed and the future trend of the HVAC system,finally,presents the purpose of this study and two problems remain to be solved.Firstly,aims at the existing problems in the current centralized control system of the chiller plant,this paper optimizes the framework of the control system and uses the iBES framework to put forward a set of standardized monitoring system framework for chiller plant.This process can not only simplify the design process of the automatic control system in chiller plant,but also have a significant value on practical application.This prosses plays an important role in improving the compatibility,replicability and extensibility of the system framework.Secondly,because of the characteristics of nonlinear,strong coupling and multivariable in the chiller plant system,it is difficult to accurately reflect the actual operating status of the whole chiller plant system by just doing the energy efficiency evaluation and fault diagnosis for a single device.It is necessary to evaluate the chiller plant from the overall level of the system and make the evaluation scientific and comprehensive as far as possible.Therefore,this paper summarizes the evaluation methods of chiller plant system and its components,and puts forward a set of perfect evaluation system for chiller plant from the aspect in operation safety,system performance and cooling quality.Based on the proposed evaluation system,the evaluation index is selected by combining the monitoring points in the standardized design of the system framework.The selected indexes can be monitored online,and also can evaluate the status of the chiller plant system effectively.Meanwhile,based on the iBES control system framework of chiller plant,the operation evaluation system for chiller plant is developed in this paper by using PLC programming and HMI programming technology.Finally,the standardized control system framework and the operation evaluation system for chiller plant are applied to the actual project.After the system designing,field construction and operation debugging in the actual engineering project,the results verified the feasibility of the evaluation system.
