With the construction and operation of the "five vertical,five horizontal and one ring" UHV AC power grid in recent years,the compensation method of series capacitance has become the most cost-effective method to increase the transmission capacity of AC transmission system.In this mode,the compensator of series capacitor will probably cause sub-synchronous resonance and so on,which not only threatens the safety of unit,but also threatens the stability of power grid.The sub-synchronous resonance will also cause torsional oscillation of the rotor shaft system of the turbogenerator,which will affect the service life of the rotor shaft system,and then cause the rupture of the shaft system.In order to avoid all possible sub-synchronous resonance,this paper takes Yvonghuliao system as the research object.Firstly,the equivalent simplification of the system is completed,and the generator shafting model and traveling wave transmission line model are established by using RSCAD simulation software.The excitation PSS and speed regulation system model TCSC and its closed-loop control model are used to verify the validity of the model,and then the time-domain simulation analysis is carried out according to the model and the input of each data.According to the actual situation of Yvonne system,the feasibility of different schemes is analyzed.The transient stability method of the system is used to calculate,and different series compensation combination schemes are proposed.The torsional vibration diagram of generator shafting is used to determine the series compensation scheme that should be avoided.The validity of the the model is compared with the simulation waveform with the field recording waveform of Yimin Power Plant.Finally,the frequency scanning analysis method and Fourier decomposition method are used.Check whether subsynchronous resonance will occur in the system and study the suppression and protection measures of subsynchronous resonance.The conclusion of the study can be used as an important strategy to prevent subsynchronous resonance,which is helpful to identify the harm and take effective restraining measures,both in theory and in engineering practice.
