Underground structures such as subway stations and tunnels are important part of lifeline engineering.Although constrained by surrounding rock, the investigation of many earthquake events shows that destroy in these underground structures triggered by earthquakes often brings about substantial property damages, claims heavy human tolls and secondary disasters. For the purpose of facilitating transportation and promoting development, subway stations are mostly built near shopping malls, residential communities, and other large constructions.the dynamic interaction among structures is bound to occur through the radiation energy emitted from a vibrating, which means the existence of adjacent surface structure will generally lead to an influence on the seismic response of the underground structure. However, previous studies mainly focus on the response characteristics of subway stations and tunnel structures themselves, there are few studies on the influence of adjacent surface structure on the seismic response of underground structures. In this thesis, the underground structure, adjacent surface structure and surrounding ground soil are considered as a whole.A three-dimensional refined finite element model of this system is established by ABAQUS to analysis the nonlinear seismic response of underground structure. The contents of the thesis are including:(1)A three-dimensional model that comprises a subway station and existing adjacent surface frame with pile foundation and soft clay is established using the finite element software ABAQUS to perform explicit dynamic analysis. The soil adopts the remote artificial boundary conditions to simulate the half space. The modified Davidenkov soil dynamic constitutive model is adopted to simulate the nonlinearity of the soil. The elastic model for concrete is adopted.(2)A soil-structure model with soil and underground structure is established to analyze the dynamic response of the underground structure such as the peak acceleration,inter-story drift ratio and stress of the underground structure. The influence of existing surface buildings on the seismic response of subway structure is studied.(3)The change law of the dynamic response of the station when the number of existing adjacent surface structures varies is analyzed.Otherwise, the influence of some factors, including the horizontal distance between surface structure and underground structure, the number of stories of surface structure, orientation of the surface frame structure, the length of pile and the buried depth of underground structure,on the dynamic response of the station is explored, and the influence law of these factors is concluded...
