As key and vulnerable parts of precast bridge decks in steel-concrete composite bridge,connection details influence construction speed and performance of precast bridge decks.There are a large number of research findings about connection details worldwide.However,because of mess and lack of arrangement,classification,analysis and comparison,it is difficult to directly apply these research findings to actual design and construction.Therefore,based on the existing research findings worldwide,this paper makes analysis and summary about panel-to-panel connections and panel-to-girder connections of precast bridge decks through summarizing method.Main research contents and findings of this paper are described below.(1)Classification of connection details based on difference types of precast bridge decks and literature review of panel-to-panel connections and panel-to-girder connections were made.(2)Analysis and summary of seven panel-to-panel connection details were made from aspect of detail,performance analysis,construction analysis and design recommendation.Detailed analysis of characteristic,mechanical property,deficiency of research,procedure of construction,suitability and design recommendation was made.Summary,comparison and recommendation were given.(3)Classification and analysis of panel-to-girder connection details and analysis and solutions of problems of collision between reinforcement and shear connector and compactness between panel and girder are made.Analysis on characteristic and applicability of different shear connectors and introduction of ordinary shear stud and large shear stud from aspect of detail,performance analysis,construction analysis and design recommendation were performed.Based on the summary and comparison of analysis above,commendatory solutions and details were given.(4)Based on the design of connection details of precast bridge decks in a typical steel-concrete composite bridge,original design and actual condition in site were described and the deficiency of original design was analyzed and concluded.Several optimized design schemes were presented and regarding evaluation,analysis,check of capacity,drawing and comparison were performed,which proved that research findings of connection details could effectively improve construction speed and quality of precast deck.
