In recent years,with the in-depth development of the wind power industry,the development and utilization of wind energy has attracted widespread attention,and the speed of wind farm construction has increased dramatically.The analysis of wind resource characteristics is an important work in the early stage of wind farm construction,and it plays a decisive role in the construction of wind farms and the economic benefits of wind farms.At present,more mature wind resource assessment methods are based on flat terrain.Most of the inland areas of China are mountainous and hilly areas.When airflow passes through hilly terrain(complex terrain),wind flow occurs due to changes in topography and geomorphology characteristics,making the flow field distribution around the mountainous area particularly complex,so wind resource assessment method using flat terrain as a model It does not apply to wind resource assessment of complex terrain.At present,the assessment techniques for the complex terrain and wind resources are not mature.Therefore,how to accurately assess the distribution of wind resources in complex terrain is one of the key technologies for the development and utilization of complex terrain wind farms.For the mountain,the slope of the mountain and the vegetation coverage of the mountain surface are two important factors that affect the distribution of the mountain flow field.Therefore,it is necessary to study how to make accurate assessment of wind resources in complex terrain and analyze the influence of different terrain and geomorphological features on the flow field in the mountainous terrain.In this paper,the distribution characteristics of typical hilly landform resources are studied by means of mechanism analysis,numerical simulation,wind tunnel experiment and engineering case analysis.Firstly,according to the characteristics of China’s topography and geomorphology,a typical hilly terrain model with a cosine cross section was established.The mathematical model of the hilly terrain flow was established by the classical fluid mechanics superposition theory and the source plate method.The wind speed calculation program was compiled with the MATLAB platform.The ratio of height to width of the downhill windward slope is calculated and analyzed;Secondly,ANSYS software is used to establish the calculation field of the mountain wind speed field.The SST turbulence calculation model is selected.The inlet wind speed of the exponential distribution is used to simulate the mountain flow field.Based on the simulation results,the windward slope of the hilly hills with different aspect ratios and different ground roughness is analyzed.Flow field characteristics;Then based on the similarity theory,three types of hilly physical models were established.Experimental benches were built at the closed section of the low-speed B1/K2 wind tunnel in the Energy Research Institute of the Ministry of Wind Energy,Ministry of Energy and Energy,Ministry of Internal Energy,Inner Mongolia University of Technology.High-frequency PIV three-dimensional particle velocity measurement technology was used.The experimental analysis was performed when the incoming wind speed was 6.5m/s;Finally,ANSYS software was used to calculate and analyze the wind resource characteristics of a typical hilly terrain in Inner Mongolia,and the following results were obtained:1.Based on classical fluid mechanics potential flow superposition theory and source plate flow mathematical model.2.Design and develop a typical hilly terrain wind speed calculation program under the MATLAB platform.3.The characteristics of wind energy elements on the typical windward face of different slopes are summarized4.The variation of wind energy elements in hilly hills under different underlying surfaces(surface roughness)was analyzed.5.Wind tunnel experiments were used to verify the distribution characteristics of the distribution characteristics of typical wind resources in hilly terrain.6.An example analysis of wind resource distribution in a typical hilly terrain in Lihua Town,Inner Mongolia was carried out.
