Along with the development of shipping industry,risk of ship – ship and ship-bridge collision has increased significantly.Study on crashworthiness structure which has better energy absorption is necessary to reduce the harm of collision accidents.The research results show that the Y type sandwich structure has hit index and impact resistance,good resistance to can.The Y sandwich plate used in ship-ship,ship bridge collision absorbing structure design,it is necessary to analyze the structure under transversal impact energy absorption effect and damage mechanism are studied in this paper.This paper describes the design of a sandwich structure is suitable for large size specimens of 180 degree lateral impact pendulum test device,using study on different experimental scheme of numerical simulation.The results show that the pendulum device can simulate ship collision impact,while can avoid second impact.The test sample using single span Y-shape stiffener,using 3D scanning technology before the experiment obtained the initial Y-shape sandwich structure deformation,and makes statistics and regression analysis,processing initial defects of Y type sandwich structure.The 180 degree pendulum test device design,the Y type sandwich structure collision impact response experimental study of different shapes and impact analysis of knock on the head position of structural response,and compared with the theoretical analysis.The velocity in the course of the experimental acceleration sensor and the acceleration of the head hit the back of the process by using the high-speed camera and layout,and transformed into a force displacement relationship,and application of impact deformation after 3D scanning technology of sandwich plate.Based on the test results to verify the numerical simulation analysis shows that the finite element model is reasonable.The results show that when the impact point in back straps intersection,structural response mainly depends on the overall lateral rigidity.On this basis,the research into head size using the numerical method,head shape,impact velocity,stiffener size of the Y type sandwich energy absorption structure impact sound research,the structure of ship-ship conclusion,ship-bridge door suction has good reference to value of design structure.
