Study On The Theory And Practice Of Zhang Lianggao’s Landscape Architecture

Under the background of the blending of disciplines,apart from being a famous national architectural master in China,Mr.Zhang Lianggao’s academic ideas span three disciplines: architecture,regulation,and landscape.This article mainly sorts out the main landscape gardening theory and practice of Mr.Zhang.This thesis summarizes Mr.Zhang from the perspective of other scholars on Mr.Zhang Lianggao’s interviews,recalls,and interpretations of his works.Zhang Lianggao’s academic research and practice chronology of landscape architecture are organized to give an overview of his life and life experiences.Zhang Lianggao’s life experience can be summed up in eight words: "Half practicing,Half studying",which can be divided into three stages: connecting architectural,which coincided with national disasters;suffering in the Cultural Revolution;taking great pains in the era of reform and opening up.Using the statistical methods of literature,the five aspects of landscape resources,landscape architecture,cultural landscape,garden history theory,heritage protection,etc.that Zhang Lianggao has involved in landscape architecture theory and practice are analyzed.Zhang Lianggao’s work on investigation,value positioning and promotion of landscape resources are combed,including the Enshi Grand Canyon,Tenglong Cave,Xianfo Temple,Tangya Tusi City,Tian Street,Shore Street,and Yu Street and other landscape resources in western Hubei.Mr.Zhang’s investigation,research and protection practice of garden architecture organized clearly,which including Ganlan Building,Ancient Buildings in Wudang Mountain,Wuhan Wuying Tower,etc.This article analyzes Zhang Lianggao’s exploration and research on cultural landscape,which mainly covers five aspects of the landscape environment of Artemisia row,Shennongjia,Xuanpu,Daguanyuan and Fengshui.In addition,there are macro-design,detail design,protection of historic and cultural cities and other landscape-related theory and practice.In summary,Mr.Zhang’s theoretical and practical achievements in landscape architecture mainly include the following three points:(1)Dropping out of the pen to deeply cultivate in the western Hubei Province;(2)Quite a lot of works,innumerable great achievements;(3)Being very versed in both ancient and modern affairs and the views are original.
