Lubrication system is one of the important systems of the diesel engine.The performance of the lubrication system has an important influence on the performance and fuel consumption of the diesel engine.This article uses Cat 3504 C diesel engine as the research object,and uses a one-dimensional mechanical and hydraulic simulation software AMESim to establish the simulation model of the diesel engine lubrication system.After checking and correcting the model,the flow field distribution of the lubrication system under the rated working condition was studied and analyzed and in different working conditions(rotation speed),bearing clearance,oil temperature on the diesel engine lubrication system.First of all,this paper introduces in detail a part of the theoretical basis of fluid mechanics involving the lubrication system of diesel engines,laying the theoretical knowledge for the subsequent simulation analysis.Secondly,the structure of diesel engine lubrication system and the working principle of each part are introduced.By establishing the mathematical model of the main components of the lubrication system and using AMESim software to establish the simulation model of the diesel engine lubrication system,the parameters of the main components were set and checked.Finally,based on the simulation results,the distribution of the flow field of the diesel engine lubrication system under the rated operating conditions,and the influence of the different operating conditions(rotational speed),bearing clearance,and bearing temperature on the lubrication system of the diesel engine are analyzed.By analyzing the simulation results of the diesel engine lubrication system,it is found that under the rated operating conditions,the lubrication of the key components of the lubrication system is in good condition,and the pressure of the diesel engine lubricant is from the outlet of the oil pump to the end of the main oil passage,and the pressure of the lubricant gradually decreases.By comparing the pressure difference at the outlet of the oil pump to the end of the main oil passage,it can be concluded that there is a large pressure loss at the oil filter.The engine speed is between 0 and 1600 r/min.As the speed increases,the inlet oil pressure,flow rate,and minimum oil film thickness of main bearings,connecting rod bearings,and camshaft bearings all increase significantly.After the rotation speed is 1600 r/min,the oil pressure and flow rate tend to be stable with the increase of the rotation speed and the increase of the rotation speed will increase the fuel consumption and wear of the diesel engine;With the increase of the bearing clearance,the inlet oil pressure of the main bearing,the connecting rod bearing and the camshaft bearing gradually decreases,the flow rate gradually increases,and the increase of the minimum oil film thickness is not obvious.And with the gap is too large cause the bearing to increase the amount of oil,increase the power of the oil pump,increase the engine's fuel consumption;As the temperature of the oil increases and the clearance of the bearing increases,the temperature rise will also reduce the eccentricity of the bearing and eventually lead to an increase of the bearing clearance,eventually increasing the fuel consumption of the diesel engine.
