With the development of computer technology and image processing technology,computer vision has been widely used in fields such as medicine,artificial intelligence,and industrial measurement.The use of computer technology to complete the three-dimensional reconstruction of auto parts has also become an indispensable part of the automobile development process.Compared with the traditional CAD 3D reconstruction and reverse point cloud 3D reconstruction in the automotive industry,the image-based three-dimensional reconstruction of auto parts surface is realized.At the same time,the image-based 3D reconstruction technology of auto parts surface closely related to computer vision has the advantages of high efficiency,economy,and convenience.In the reverse process,the 3D reconstruction of the parts of the target car can be performed through the image,thereby shortening the development cycle of the car.In this paper,based on the related theories of computer vision and image processing,using MATLAB tools,the image-based three-dimensional reconstruction of auto parts surface is realized.This paper first systematically introduces the basic methods and related theoretical basis of three-dimensional reconstruction.Then the related algorithms in the three-dimensional reconstruction process are studied,and the related methods of feature point detection and matching are discussed.Through the feature detection and matching of two images at different viewing angles of a car part door,the corresponding three-dimensional coordinates of the space point are restored using the matched feature point pairs.Finally,the relevant data is interpolated and the data is reconstructed using the MATLAB data visualization function.A three-dimensional model of the car door surface is achieved.Based on the three-dimensional reconstruction method based on feature point detection and matching,a three-dimensional reconstruction method based on color image segmentation is proposed.The segmentation of the color image is realized by MATLAB and the reconstruction target is extracted by combining the digital image morphology processing.When the feature points are matched,the RANSAC algorithm is used to eliminate the wrong matching points,the three-dimensional reconstruction of the car door surface is completed,and the feasibility of the three-dimensional reconstruction based on image segmentation is verified.By comparison,the three-dimensional reconstruction method based on feature point detection and matching is suitable for automotive components with obvious characteristics.For surface features that are not obvious,it usually requires some auxiliary measures,such asadding feature points or marking the surface of components..The application of 3D reconstruction based on image segmentation is more extensive.Experiments show that the research on 3D-reconstruction of auto parts surface has the advantages of convenience,high efficiency,and good real-time performance in rapid prototyping of irregular surfaces such as car bodies and doors,which has low cost andcertain guiding significance and reference value in reversed development for automotive panels.
