When the electron beam generated by the electron gun passes through the accelerating tube,the beam continuously obtains microwave energy and is continuously acceleratedmoving in the high-frequency electromagnetic field,Finally,the accelerated high energy and high power electron beam is output from the exit of the accelerated tube and the items are irradiated.Irradiation processing technology has the advantages of strong penetrating ability,low energy consumption,safety and no pollution,etc.It has been widely used in the field of food irradiation.In order to meet the requirements of the irradiation processing technology,the research on the radiation accelerator measurement and control system has become an urgent problem to be solved.For this reason,a radiation accelerator measurement and control systembased on EPICS and Labviewhas been designed through theoretical analysis and experimental methods.the accelerator field flatnessreaches 0.69%,the amplitude stability reaches ±1%,and the phase stability reaches ±1°.It can be applied to the field of radiation processing such as food,military products and agriculture.The overall design of the radiation accelerator measurement and control system mainly includes accelerator field flatness adjustment system and accelerator amplitude phase control system.Each cavity of the accelerator gets an equal electric field to ensure that the cavity by the field flatness adjustment system,then cavity will get a maximum net acceleration voltage and a minimum peak surface electric field.Accelerator amplitude-phase control system ensures that the amplitude and phase of the accelerated high-frequency electric field are stabilized within the allowable range,so that the electron beam can get the maximum energy.Based on the EPICS and Labview,the upper application side of the radiation accelerator measurement and control system is developed.Using the I/O Server interface technology,the unified CSS control interface of the upper computer was developed to realize the data exchange between EPICS and Labview.By analyzing the field flatness theory,a field flatness adjustment procedure is developed and the required adjustment frequency for obtaining a single cavity is obtained.At the same time,by setting up the accelerator control model,the stability of the accelerator step response feedback system is analyzed and the parameters in the proportional-integral controller are determined.The combination of magnetron-injected frequency-locking technology,high-power synthesis technology,and digital technology has enabled the control of accelerator frequency,amplitude,and phase.The performance of the designed radiation accelerator control system was tested and the results showed that the radiation accelerator control system was designed to meet the requirements.The research on the radiation accelerator control system in this paper provides a theoretical basis for the study of the regulation of the field flatness,and provides a new idea for the study of the amplitude and phase control strategy of accelerator.
