| Composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete is an innovative shear wall with the combination of steel and concrete.It is combined with U-shaped steel with different sections,which are filled with concrete.Acting as a main anti-vertical force and anti-lateral force component of the structural system,the composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete has many advantages such as high lateral stiffness,high load bearing capacity,good ductility and seismic performance,which is compared with the reinforced concrete shear wall.It is suited for the development of the green building and industrialization of building,and has a wide application prospects.L-type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete is widely used in corner of wall,and sectional shear center doesn’t coincide with centroid of the section,which make it suffer complex forces.However,there are few articles about the seismic performance of L-type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete.In this paper,the seismic performance is studied at first.Furthermore,the failure mode of the one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete and the advantage of reinforced concrete shear wall with boundary columns are analysed.Finally,composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns is developed.The main research work is as follows:(1)Firstly,based on the test of one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete,an integral model is established by using software ABAQUS.Comparing the numerical simulation results with experimental data,the modeling method of finite element and the simulation results are proved to be correct.(2)Secondly,the seven L-type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete are designed.The finite element models are established respectively using ABAQUS to analyse the influence of axial compression ratio,shear span ratio,sectional height to thickness ratio,U-type steel thickness of hidden column,U-type steel section size to the seismic performance of L-type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete,and influence regularities are obtained.By analysing stress distributing graph of shear wall,working mechanism of shear wall is exposed.The results indicated that the failure mode of the L-type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete is bending failure,and the edge of the web is badly damaged.When flange width is larger,the bottom of flange is inclined to occur out-of-plane bending,which make the bearing capacity fall fastly,it is suggested that the width of flange should not exceed 450 mm in practical engineering.(3)Thirdly,the one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns is developed in this paper.Finite element model of the one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns and one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with no boundary columns is established using software ABAQUS to compare their seismic performance.The results indicated that boundary columns can provide effective confinement to the one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns,resulting in bearing capacity and energy dissipation capacity improvement.it is proved that the seismic performance of one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns is good,and it has obvious advantages.(4)Fourthly,the ten finite element models of the one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns are designed to analyse the influence of axial compression ratio,steel thickness of boundary columns,shear span ratio,sectional height to thickness ratio,U-type steel section size,whether with steel tube in boundary columns or not,to the seismic behavior of it,and influence regularities are obtained.Based on a standard one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns,which has obvious advantages,the effect of axial compression ratio,concrete strength,strength of steel,steel thickness to the seismic behavior are analyzed.(5)Finally,based on the theory of full plastic method,the calculation formula of the flexure strength of the one-font type composite shear wall with steel tubes and filled concrete with boundary columns is deduced and proposed.The flexure strength of the nine shear wall are calculated by using this formula,and then compared with the finite element results.The evaluated results show good agreement with the finite element results,with disparity no more than 8.9%.Therefore,the formula can be used to calculate the flexure strength of the type shear wall. |
