The light-folded reticulated shell house is a camping house that has complex shape and is made of lightweight materials,which is widely used in our country’s engineering practice.Due to the light weight and complex surface aerodynamic properties of such buildings,it is a wind-sensitive building.However,the research on the optimization of the wind-resistant shape of the folded shell houses has not been carried out in depth.Therefore,based on the existing wind tunnel test data for specific shapes,this article establishes an economical and efficient numerical wind tunnel.Under the premise of satisfying the functional requirements of the camping house,we optimize the design of the multi-body,multi-case,folded,shellaccommodated building construction and minimize the impact of wind loads on the building.It is of great theoretical significance and engineering application value for the development of a new type of folded mesh housing.It also provides design theory and design method for the optimization of wind resistance of similar lightweight mobile housing.In order to improve the wind resistance of complex body-folded reticulated shell houses and make it have a reasonable shape under the action of wind load,based on the basic theory of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD),numerical wind tunnel simulations were performed using the fluid dynamics calculation software FLUENT.Comparing with wind tunnel test data,we verify and analyze the basic numerical parameters and technology of numerical simulation such as reasonable numerical wind tunnels of light-folded reticulated houses and boundary conditions,calculation domain size,mesh division,discrete format,solving algorithm,turbulence model and etc.In accordance with the technical specifications of the spatial grid structure and the functional requirements of the use of camping houses,28 kinds of building shapes are designed with the parameters of the rise span ratio,the angle and the height of the end door.Using the wind direction angles of 0°,30°,45°,60°,and 90° as the analysis parameters,the numerical simulations of 140 working conditions were carried out to obtain the wind pressure distribution characteristics and wind load shape coefficients of lightly-folded reticulated shell houses with different shapes.On this basis,with the objective of minimizing the uniformity of wind pressure distribution and the standard deviation of the body shape coefficient,the light-folded reticulated shell houses are subjected to an optimization analysis which is based on the wind-resistant design,and a reasonable shape with good wind resistance performance is obtained.The results show that the establishment of a numerical wind tunnel for optimization of building shape under multi-coefficient and multi-operating conditions is a very economical and efficient method.Based on the wind-resistance design,the shape optimization of the folded shell houses can effectively improve its wind resistance performance,and at the same time provide a basis and reference for the wind-resistant optimization design of the light movable houses.
