With the rapid economic advancement and the up-surged quantity of road transportation in our country,the lack of grassroots strength has caused the road to be destroyed in advance.the common-used cement content for cement stabilized macadam base in engineering practice is 4%to 6%,to enhance the strength and durability of the base,the cement content of 5%?7%?9%?11%?13%?15%were applied as the experimental objects in this subject.In this article,the impact of the enhanced cement content on the mechanical property,drying shrinkage property and thermal shrinkage property of the cement stabilized macadam base was studied.The experimental results indicated that the unconfined compression strength and flexural tensile strength of the material has been improved in corresponding to the increased cement content.And the increase of the mechanical property was lifted as the cement content increased.The comparative analysis on different cement content showed that the drying shrinkage property and thermal shrinkage property of the cement stabilized macadam material decreased corresponding to the increase of cement content,after the cement content evaluated.The shrinkage property of the material showed a good performance when the cement content was not more than 11%,while the shrinkage property of the material started to become bad as the cement content exceeded 11%.Therefore,the amount of cement in this article should not be too large,under the improvement of base strength and concurrently conformation of the drying shrinkage property and thermal shrinkage property of the material to the utility requirement standards.The experimental results also suggested that the drying shrinkage course mainly took place within 7 days of the age in terms of the drying shrinkage property,and hence,the early-phase maintenance and care of the cement stabilized macadam base should be ensured.In terms of the thermal shrinkage property,as the cement content increases,the temperature shrinkage strain and the coefficient of temperature increase correspondingly increase,the optimal construction temperature of the cement stabilized macadam base should not be lower than 5~°C and higher than 15~°C.In the experiment of this article,the impact of the cement content on the mechanical property and shrinkage cracking property the cement stabilized macadam material was comprehensively analyzed.In consideration of the road to improve the strength requirements of the grass-roots level and the combination of the contraction and temperature shrinkage requirements at the grass-roots level,different cement admixtures are considered.Through the reasonable incorporation of cement,it provides a reliable reference for the actual road design and construction,so this kind of semi-rigid base material has rejuvenated.
