Because of inherited the good speed control performance of the traditional DC motor,under heavy load conditions,Brushless DC motor can achieve uniform and smooth continuously variable.On the other hand,it has not the disadvantage of limited poor contact and no power,which are caused by the mechanical commutator of the Brush DC motor.For this reason,People are paying more and more attention to it.Typically,the brushless DC motor is driven by a square wave.However,when the motor starts,the fluctuation is very large.So this control method would produce a lot of noise and affect the surrounding environment.Field Orientation Control using sine wave control mode,the mode not only can eliminate noise from square wave control method,but also it decomposes the motor stator current into excitation current and torque current by a set of relations,which improves the motor speed control performance.Therefore,there has a great practical significance to study the Field Orientation Control algorithm of brushless DC motor.this paper mainly studies the brushless DC motor control system based on Field Orientation Control algorithm,the Specific work is summarized as follows:Firstly,the research status and development trend of BLDCM were introduced,and the structure and working principle of BLDCM were studied.Secondly,the basic principle of Field Orientation Control and its implementation were introduced,and the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM)algorithm were described in detail,and its theoretical analysis and reasoning were also given.Moreover,in order to expand the brushless DC motor speed range,in this control system,flux-weakening control algorithm were applied,which made the motor speed to reach the base speed above.Lastly,STM32F103RBT6 chip of STMicroelectronics were chosen as the control chip,and the control system was debugged and tested by setting up the corresponding hardware platform.The test results show that the brushless DC motor with Field Orientation Control algorithm runs stably,coupled with the use of flux-weakening control,the speed range were also expanded.
