Swivel construction technology is widely applied in bridge construction in our country,the security and stability is the basic questions must be considered.The swivel hinge is the most important components of swivel bridge.It is of great significance to research the stability of the swivel hinge to ensure the swivel hinge can work effectively.It is necessary to simulate and analysis the construction process of swivel bridge using the finite element numerical calculation method to predict structure stress and deformation characteristics because of complex loading of the Swivel Bridges construction.In this paper,the research object is swivel bridge of Nandu Jiang.It will research the stability of the swivel hinge combining the theory of contact mechanics and finite element theory,simulate the process of swivel.The research results are as follows:(1)The contact stress of the swivel spherical hinge can be calculated and analysised according to the simplified algorithm,the theory of the elastic half-plane body boundary by concentrated force,the finite element method.(2)The calculation formula of the rotating friction torque can be deduced based on the simplified algorithm,the theory of the elastic half-plane body boundary by concentrated force.It is reasonable to get the rotation friction torque coefficient comparing with the results of the finite element simulation.(3)The instability critical moment of the swivel spherical hinge can be deduced based on the simplified algorithm,the theory of the elastic half-plane body boundary by concentrated force.It can get the calculation formula of the instability critical moment for M =?FR.(4)This paper analyzes the overturning moment influence on the swivel spherical hinge contact state and studies the positioning steel shaft influence on the stability of the swivel spherical hinge.(5)This paper analyzes the stress state and deformation state in the different construction stage based on MIDAS/CIVIL model of swivel bridge of Nandu Jiang.It also analyzes the stability of the construction stage,the results show that the construction process of stability of the bridge meet the requirements.
