Research On LNG/Diesel Dual Fuel Engine Expert System

Compared to the applications of traditional diesel engine in shipping business,Dual-fuel engine has the following advantages: flexible use of fuel?small emissions of particulate matter?Small engine changes?low cost of engine changes,at the same time,Dual-fuel engine can ease the enormous pressure the shipping industry faced on the environment.But Dual-fuel engine has a more complex systems structure than diesel engine,more complex working conditions,so there is a high probability of engine failure.So it is very important to eliminate the fault symptoms of Dual-fuel engine in time.The technology of fault diagnosis for diesel engine has been developed for many years,and a variety of diagnostic techniques have become more mature.As one of the most important field of artificial intelligence,Expert System has been carried out for a while in the basic theory of research,and the level of technology continues to improve.The application of ES in the fault diagnosis technology of Dual-fuel engine can help the staff to diagnose and repair the fault of Dual-fuel engine timely.This paper takes the Z6170 Dual-fuel engine as the research object,making use of the faults diagnostic technique based on the expert system,design a Dual-fuel engine diagnosis expert system.The main work is: obtain the fault knowledge by analyseing the failure phenomena?failure causes?diagnosis and maintenance Strategy of the main system of Z6170 Dual-fuel engine;select presentation of knowledge based on clastic production and design the dictionary and rule base of the Dual-fuel engine diagnosis Expert System based on the research of the ES;design the reasoning machine of the Dual-fuel engine diagnosis Expert System during the study of inference methods and control strategies ? uncertain reasoning of the failure phenomena ? search strategy;design the overall structure of Dual-fuel engine diagnosis Expert System based on the analysis of design requirements?functions and design principles of ES;Then choose Web Java interface programming tool to design the interface of expert system,this paper records the detailed development process of the function realization of the expert system.At the same time,using MySQLdatabase management software to design the knowledge base.Finally the Dual-fuel engine diagnosis Expert System is completed.In the end of the paper,the rationality of the Dual-fuel engine diagnosis Expert System is verified through the operation of the fault phenomena.The designed Web based diagnosis expert system is independent of platform,independent of level,complete function and convenient operation,with the combination of artificial intelligence and Internet technology,so that the function and design requirement of the diagnosis expert system are realized.
