In the maintenance strategy model,warm standby repairable system is one of the important research model.The warm standby refers to the so-called components even in the standby state,there will be failures.This paper based on the existing research results,by using the geometric process and renewal theory,calculating the expected cost per unit time of the long term operating system,through the numerical example analysis and numerical simulation,proving the optimal replacement strategy of the existence.First of all,the warm standby repairable system as the research subject,the system consisting of two dissimilar components and two repairmen is studied.By using the geometric process and renewal theory,in the fault component cannot be repaired “as good as new” prerequisites,we are derived the long-running unit time period at loss.Through numerical example,we are finding out the optimal strategy,and compared the two repairmen model with one repairman model average cost in long-term operation unit time optimal replacement policy,and obtaining some numerical results.Secondly,the same warm standby repairable system as the research subject,the system is consist of two different components and a repairman.Considering the priority and standby's time detection strategy,respectively in the one component's failure times N and warm standby unit standby time the detection interval of T replacement policy,the common components and standby's work time and repair time obeys the exponential distribution.The expected loss of long-term operation of unit time as the objective function,we are derived by geometric process theory and renewal theory.Finally,we carry out an example analysis,and comparison of standby in unit time period conducting time detection strategy or not detected in any ways,and the corresponding numerical results are obtained.Finally,the warm standby system consisting of two identical components and one repairman is studied,considering the discount rate and the fault components cannot repair the situation,respectively on the one component's failure times N and the service life T of equipment as replacement policy,the long-run expected total discount cost act as the objective function.And in the analysis of an example,we applied the MATLAB method of random simulation,obtained the optimal replacement strategy.
