Axial piston pumps are widely used in marine,aerospace and other fields with their simple structure and high power ratio.As the most critical friction pair in the axial piston pump,due to the complexity of the working conditions of the port plate pair,premature failure is often caused by the occurrence of friction and poor lubrication characteristics.The existence of this problem has greatly hindered the development of piston pump.Therefore,how to effectively solve the problem of poor friction and lubrication characteristics of the Port plate pair is of great significance to the development of axial piston pumps.Bionics micro texturing technology is a new kind of anti-friction and drag reduction technology proposed by the in-depth study of the biological structure of nature.After decades of development,Bionics micro texturing technology has been successfully applied to such as engine cylinder liner and piston ring,computer hard drives and other fields.This lays a solid foundation for the introduction of bionics micro texturing technology into the axial piston pump to improve its friction and lubrication performance.In this paper,the bionics micro texturing technology is introduced into the port plate pair of the axial piston pump.The frictional lubrication characteristics of the bionics micro texturing port plate pair were studied through the following aspects: theory,manufacturing,testing,and simulation:First of all,it analyzes and calculates the actual working conditions of the axial piston pump port plate pair.At the same time,combined with the corresponding theory to analyze the causes of common wear patterns in the pump.Analyzed and discussed from the theoretical point of view,the mechanism of the micro texturing structure of bionics to improve the friction lubrication performance.The quality of bionics micro texturing processing will directly affect its improvement effect on friction lubrication characteristics.From the perspective of processing and manufacturing,this paper uses laser processing technology as a processing method for bionics micro texturing structures.According to the characteristics of laser processing and selected materials,the influence of laser parameters on the morphology and quality of the processed bionics micro texturing structure was studied.Combined with the commonly used matching materials on the port plate pair,a friction lubrication test was performed on the specimens processed with the micro texturing structure.The influence of the diameter,density,depth of the bionics micro texturing structure,and the experimental speed and load on the frictional lubricating characteristics of the commonly used paired materials of the port plate pair were studied by orthogonal test method.By observing the surface wear morphology of the specimen after the test,the anti-friction mechanism and effect of the bionics micro texturing structure were analyzed and discussed.With the help of CFD analysis technology,the port plate pair with bionics micro texturing structure was studied.The influence of the processing position of the bionics micro texturing structure on the load bearing capacity and frictional lubrication characteristics of the port plate pair oil film was analyzed.By studying the watershed at the micro texturing,the pressure and flow field changes are analyzed.By researching and comparing the oil film bearing capacity and viscous torque on the port plate pair,the optimal machining position of the bionics micro texturing structure on the port plate pair was found.
