| Coupled composite steel plate wall(CCSPW)system is composed of composite steel plate wall and.steel beam.Composite steel plate wall have good deformation capacity and energy dissipation capacity,it can bear higher axial pressure with smaller section size.Under the coupling effect of steel beams,the concentrated damage at the bottom of the body will be delayed.The bolt connection can effectively avoid the residual stress while ensuring the integrity of the structure and it is easy to construct.The bolt connection and has been gradually used in the super high rise building.Current experimental research is usually aimed at the study of composite shear walls or continuous beams respectively.Coupling effect of coupling beam and composite wall were considered rarely.According to some related research and code of AISC 341-2010 and JGJ 138-2016,the seismic design method of CCSPW system is studied in this paper.a 1/4 scaled 5 story specimen with the coupling ratio of 30% was designed,constructed and tested to investigate the seismic behavior in terms of hysteretic response,stiffness and strength degradation characteristics,energy dissipation capacity,deformation of specimen and strain analysis.Yield mechanism and failure pattern are explored in this paper.Test reslts indicated that CCSPW system can realize dual line of defense with reasonable design.After test of 5 layer specimen,it is found that local weakening and internal force redistribution restrain the energy consumption of dual defense lines.Then,a series of measures are proposed to prevent local damage,including the use of high strength friction bolt and avoid bolt and weld joint at the same height.Then a substructure test were design with this measures.The test showed that the bolt connection won’t change the failure mode of the system.The steel coupling beam and the bottom of the composite wall play its energy dissipation capacity and deformation ability fully.It was confirmed that the numerical simulation is a reasonable technique to capture the main mechanical characteristic of specimen based on the results of the substructure test.Then a 5 layer specimen without bolt connection was established.The specimen shows good seismic behavior.there is no local weakening on the 2 floor. |
