Research On The Exhibition Space Design Of The Relic Museum

Relics are an important cultural heritage of mankind,and the relics museum was created to protect and study them.In recent years,as people continue to attach importance to the protection of various types of cultural relics,the content of protection has also been continuously enriched,along with the continuous expansion of the archeological scope,and the construction of the relics museum is also rapidly developing.The core of the relic museum is the exhibition space,which is also the soul of the museum.It directly affects whether the historical and cultural information of the relics can be fully expressed and visitors’ physiological feelings and psychological feelings.At present,most of the relics museums are based on the principle of protecting sites,lacking consideration of the psychological and physiological feelings of visitors,and lacking in shaping the spatial atmosphere.Human activities and relics museums interact with each other.With the relics museum starting from the “object-oriented”approach to current“people-oriented”.The functions of the Museum of Relics have gradually broken through the traditional categories,and the form and space have also broken through the previous "coverage" protection principles,showing more and more forms.However,most relics are soil and stone relics,and the readability of historical information is limited.The exhibition of traditional heritage museums is too single,and it does not provide a comprehensive and effective display of relic information.In addition,since each visitor has different levels of knowledge and experience,the understanding of historical information of the remains is different.As a result,most visitors did not fully appreciate the historical information and cultural value of the relics when they viewed the remains.In order to enable the historical and cultural values of the relics to be effectivelydisseminated,to create comfortable and humanized spatial scales,and to create a good historical and cultural atmosphere.This article starts with the exhibition space of the Museum of Relics,taking Xi’an as an example.Based on the analysis of the type and characteristics of the relics and relics museum,as well as the concept of exhibition design,respectively analyze the influencing factors and relevance of space design from the perspective of relics and viewers.And through the investigation and analysis of the case of the Xi’an Remains Museum,from the aspects of the conservation model of the relics,the proportion scale of exhibition space,exhibition facilities,spatial effects,and visitors ’ activities,etc.,and put forward design strategies.It aims to create a comfortable space for the historical and cultural information that effectively conveys the remains.
